Meet the Team

Sam Lawrence

Director/Insurance Adviser

I have 20 years of insurance experience across New Zealand and Australia so there is not much I haven’t seen. I have worked through earthquakes, bushfires, cyclones and floods and understand it’s a people process and my approach goes beyond the tick boxes of many insurers. It can be as simple as helping the mother-in-law arrange a tow truck from the supermarket after a whoopsie to standing in the middle of ashes calling the local motel to arrange accommodation and consoling someone who has lost everything. It the hard times that show the value of an Adviser. I am also a bit of an insurance nerd and sit on the National Committe for the New Zealand Insurance Law Assocation.

Outside of the office I enjoy getting out for a round of golf and I am always keen for a coffee or brew of some kind. I am a busy father to 3 boys and I am currently spending weekends chauffeuring to and from sports.
